I have been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. Starting as a Salon Coordinator while in high school and was I was immediately hooked! I became a stylist in 1992, and in 2006 purchased Coiffeteria Salon, fulfilling my lifelong dream of helping others feel their most beautiful through hair, skin, and nails.
I aligned my career with Aveda where I fulfilled various roles as a Hair Color Educator and Regional Director of Sales. I take great pride in helping my team grow and develop their true potential, both, professionally and personally. My hope is that everyone leaves Coiffeteria Salon feeling beautiful, loved and with a smile on their face.
Along with the Coiffeteria Salon, I am a co-author of a beauty book, Flourish. This is a way for any one in the health industry to chart, document, learn, journal, and share the beauty that this career can offer.
I am also thankful to be apart of something that has had so much positive influence in my life as a wife, mom, and salon owner. Five years ago, I had a few health scares, and a nervous break down which lead me to realize that beauty on the inside is vital to our health. I took the first step, reached out to one of my besties and started my journey in the health/fitness industry as well. I quickly learned how BEAUTIFUL life is once you align all of your passions. How beautiful is it to be a part of something that flourishes beauty on the inside – in both health but also in empowering others to be their best.
On a personal note, I am happily married to my husband Jim and we have two beautiful children (a mini-me teenage girl and a hockey playing teenage boy). My faith is extremely important and I believe that heart health includes my relationship with Jesus along with fitness & nutrition.
Beauty tip: I truly believe that in order to fully flourish; health & beauty is from the outside in. I love taking care of myself from the inside out, including heart health, and can’t wait to help you flourish, too!
